Modern weapon systems, which include armour-plated, armoured and transport vehicles, are now extremely costly, with the result that their replacement is being postponed, but at the same time they have to meet their mission the same as the first day they went into service.

In view of the above, many Armed Forces opt for their modernisation, substituting those essential components (motor, suspension, armour–plating, etc) that, at the same time as allowing them to prolong the vehicle’s operational life, will also improve their features so as to bring them more in line with more modern systems.

COHEMO, S.L. offers its clients the ability to improve their vehicles whilst meeting their operational requirements.

COHEMO has a specialised team that studies the client’s expectations regarding the modernisation of their equipment, the budget available, the useful life envisaged, etc., and prepares a report to enable the client to make the most suitable decision regarding the project’s feasibility.

Once the client has decided to go ahead, COHEMO, S.L. undertakes the modernisation of their vehicles in COHEMO’s own plants, or in those of the companies involved in the project, and which based on their technical specialities are the most suitable to do the work .

All these processes are overseen by the Quality Department, either in COHEMO’S own premises if the work is carried out there, or in subcontracted companies, thus checking that the work is done in accordance with the ISO9001:200 Standard, which our Quality System is based on.
